Summer 2026
For the past 15 summers, something very special has been happening in Crystal Beach.
Over the years, thousands of people have gathered along the shoreline to be part of a beloved summer tradition known as Church on the Beach. Church on the Beach began in the summer of 2011 through the hearts and vision of Bill and Diane Hein, and over the years was faithfully helped grow and establish through the dedication of Neil and Mary Boron. Together, along with many volunteers, they helped create a place where people could encounter faith, community, and hope along the shoreline of Crystal Beach. For 8–10 Sundays every summer, hundreds of people gather for a time of worship, prayer, and a message of hope right by the water. Over the years, more than 25,000 people have attended, with over 200 people making decisions for Christ and more than 50 baptisms taking place in the waters of Lake Erie.
It’s a place where neighbours, families, and visitors can come just as they are-whether that’s in their bathing suits, carrying beach chairs, kids bringing their sandcastle buckets, or even watching the service from the water in their boat while taking a moment to pause and worship together along the shoreline.
Church on the Beach exists to help remove barriers for those who may not normally attend church by creating a welcoming place where people can encounter Jesus in a relaxed setting. It also provides an opportunity for those visiting Crystal Beach on vacation, spending time with family, or enjoying a weekend away to gather in worship while they are away from their home church. While Church on the Beach is not itself a local church, we are passionate about building bridges between people and the local church community. For those who are searching for a church home, we are pleased to help connect them with one of the many Christ-centered churches throughout Fort Erie and the surrounding area, where they can continue to grow in their faith and become part of a church family.
As we prepare for the 16th season, we are grateful that this ministry will continue with the support of the Crystal Ridge Dream Center, alongside long-time volunteers Tara and Jason Marton, who will be helping us steward Church on the Beach moving forward. Tara and Jason have faithfully served in this ministry for many years, and we are thankful for their willingness to step into this role alongside us.
We are also incredibly thankful for the 40+ volunteers who faithfully serve throughout the summer in various ministry roles. From worship and prayer teams to sound, set-up and tear down, hospitality, welcome, baptism support, and many behind-the-scenes areas of service, this ministry is only possible because of the many people who generously give their time and hearts each summer. The Crystal Ridge Dream Center is honoured to help support and steward Church on the Beach as it continues to impact lives each summer.

The Crystal Ridge Dream Center is a dedicated community outreach organization committed to serving the diverse needs of individuals and families living in the Greater Fort Erie Area. Established in 2019, we offer a wide range of programs and services designed to provide support, resources, and hope to those in need.

Our Statement of Faith:
- We believe the Bible, in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. It is the written Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error.
- We believe in the virgin birth and true deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for the sins of mankind, and that His shed blood is the only sufficient expiation for the sins of all men. We believe in His bodily resurrection and in His soon-coming personal return to the earth in power and glory. (Eph 4:10; Phil 3:21)
- We believe that men are justified by faith and are accounted righteous before God only through the merit of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and that all who are so justified are born anew and receive eternal life, but that those who have not been born again shall not see the Kingdom of God. (Col 1:27; John 3:5)
- We believe there is one true and living God who has manifested Himself as the Father, as the Son and as the Holy Spirit. (1 Tim. 3:16; Mat. 28:19). He is all powerful, all knowing, and omnipresent. God is unchanging, infinitely perfect, holy, righteous, just and merciful. He is eternal, He is Spirit and He is love.
- We believe that all true believers are one body in Christ and every one member’s one of another. We are the universal church, the living spiritual body of which Jesus Christ is the head.
- We believe that all believers are commissioned by Jesus to go into all the world to share the gospel and His unfailing love.
- We believe in water baptism and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers and equips believers for service.
- We believe in divine healing through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ and that healing is included in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. We believe God continues to heal, perform miracles, answer prayer, and work powerfully in the lives of His people today. We encourage believers to pray in faith and trust God’s promises while recognizing His sovereignty, wisdom, and perfect will. While we pray boldly and expectantly for healing, we also recognize that God’s purposes are not always fully understood, and we are committed to walking alongside those facing illness, suffering, or loss with compassion, hope, and support.
